The Polar Challenge 2021: Transforming the Plunge

Can you do 100 jumping jacks in three minutes? Can you sing and juggle at the same time? Join North Shore Community Development Coalition (North Shore CDC) and Lifebridge North Shore for a fun, competitive, virtual event Transforming the Plunge: A Polar Challenge! This year, since we cannot be together on Super Bowl Sunday to plunge into the Atlantic, North Shore CDC and Lifebridge North Shore are bringing the community together by online for a virtual challenge to end homelessness on the North Shore. A unique year deserves a unique challenge.

We call upon students, teachers, and community members to leverage the power of social media by challenging yourself and your friends to perform an activity while you raise funds to combat homelessness. Pick a suggested activity below or create one of your own!

From March 1st through March 15th, participants will take part in a peer to peer fundraising campaign online with the goal to raise money in support of North Shore CDC and Lifebridge North Shore and share their challenge online through social media.

Join the Polar Challenge, to create a fundraising page and ask your friends and family to support your challenge. Then, anytime during the first 2 weeks of March, post your video to Instagram or Facebook, donate forget to tag @northshorecdc and @lifebridgenorthshore.
