Stories of Impact

JM

Grace Center is a place to come to be part of the community. I've been isolated with my loneliness. Coming here makes me feel more grateful after my stroke. The seeds I planted 20 years ago have sprouted here. This place allows me to be who I was before I felt negativity, pain, and anger.

Marie

After suffering months of abuse, I came to the Grace Center during the day. What helped me rebuild my life was participating in Grace Center activities that were therapeutic - joining a writing group, playing Bingo and cards, knitting, and crocheting. The staff did everything possible to make my life easier, including helping me understand the bus system, getting a new PCP, and connecting me to Mass Health and domestic violence and legal services.
