Photo Gallery: Fall Activities 2025
11-30-2025Shared activities rebuild community when people are experiencing housing and food insecurity. This autumn, clients at all of our locations enjoyed seasonal activities. Many of Lifebridge’s events are open to the public – find a location near you to get involved.
Halloween Pumpkin Carving & Decorating
Paint, carving tools, and pumpkin guts everywhere — that’s how you know it’s been a good day! Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun at River House in Beverly and the Lifebridge Main Campus in Salem. The Salem campus also hosted a pumpkin carving contest for clients and guests, with gift cards for first and second place winners. Congratulations, winners!
Pat Fleming from the Hamilton-Wenham Garden Club decorated pumpkins with River House clients using dried flowers from their garden with stunning results!
Halloween Decorations at the Seeds of Hope Garden
Our clients that manage the Lifebridge Seeds of Hope community garden took the time to decorate for Halloween. We love being a part of the spooky Salem community!
Apple Picking at Russell Orchards
Our Grace Center clients enjoyed a trip to Russell Orchards to pick apples together. One of the best ways to build community, connection, and dignity is through fun activities like this one. These experiences are usually behind a paywall and therefore inaccessible to people experiencing housing and food instability. Thank you, Russell Orchards, for having us! And special thanks to George from the Lifebridge Community Outreach department for providing transportation to and from the outing in his van.
Veterans Day
Our case manager, Ashley, and Laurie and Doug Keiles from Meat and Sweet Foods coordinated a special Veterans’ Day Lunch at the Lifebridge Grace Center. Laurie and Doug prepared barbecue pulled pork and chicken, rolls, coleslaw, cupcakes, and apple parfait. Learn more about community meals here.
Bingo at the Salem Campus
Our case managers Helen and Carina played bingo with guests at our main campus in Salem.
Friendsgiving Dinner at the Grace Center
Not even power outages keep us from showing up for our community! Despite losing power the day before the Grace Center’s Friendsgiving dinner last week, volunteers, staff, and community members banded together to ensure no one went hungry. Read the full story here.
Thanksgiving at River House
Our River House residents used donated ingredients to cook themselves a Thanksgiving Feast. Having the ability to choose what to eat and prepare your own meals in a stocked kitchen can give our clients agency in uncertain times. Residents went above and beyond this weekend, with roasted turkey, sides, and desserts to share in community together.
