Shared activities are a great way to rebuild community when people are struggling to meet their most basic needs. Many of Lifebridge’s events are open to the public – find a location near you to get involved.

Ornament & Cookie Decorating at the Salem Campus

Our clients and staff at the Salem campus made the season bright ornament painting, cookie decorating, and a tree lighting.

River House Holiday Party

Festivities were in full swing at River House. The residents and staff played games with prizes with Deb from the Lifebridge kitchen in Salem and her mom, knitted with Christiane, made gingerbread houses, and sang karaoke. We didn’t get any pictures of playing musical chairs, but it was a blast! Deb and her mom also brought treats and gifts for Christmas morning!

Christmas Tree Lighting at the Salem Day Center

We had a very festive (and COLD!) tree lighting at our Seeds of Hope community garden in Salem. Clients and staff decorated the tree, sang carols, and enjoyed cookies and hot apple cider. One of our clients sang a beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night” in French at our tree lighting. She brought us all a little Christmas cheer as we braved the strong December winds!

Bingo at the Salem Day Center

BINGO! Guests and clients at our Salem campus won great prizes donated by the community. These fun, easy to play games bring joy and dignity this time of year.

A Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt

Clients at the Salem Campus had a Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt, with tasks like, “Draw a picture of love on the whiteboard in the conference room,” “Get or make a heart from nature,” and “What staff member has ‘Rose’ as a middle name?” Everyone got prizes, including Dunkin’ gift cards for the first team to complete the hunt!

Salem Sewing Group Makes Karen’s Retirement Quilt

Our case manager Iris sewed this quilt with our Tuesday sewing group at the Salem campus as a retirement gift for our kitchen manager Karen. Each square was signed by Lifebridge staff and clients.

The client sewing group meets every Tuesday at 56 Margin St. in Salem and is open to everyone.

The Art of Lunch at the Grace Center

Clients at the Grace Center in Gloucester regularly enjoy art, such as a documentary on the Blizzard of 1978, and catered lunches during “The Art of Lunch.” Learn more about this treasured Grace Center tradition here.
