If you keep up with our blogs, you know that we provide value and opportunity for people experiencing homelessness or suffering from poverty. For over three decades, our services have been helping individuals on the North Shore to better their lives and regain stability. If you don’t know too much about us, or if you want a refresher, read on through this blog and be reminded of how we’re making progress every day.
When we think of the North Shore, we often think of the coastal waters, the beautiful sights to see, and the vast amount of history that is centric to the region. This is all rings true and brings so much economic development to the area with local shopping, tourist attractions, and so much to do and see.
Though we have accomplished so much on the North Shore thus far, Lifebridge recognizes that there’s still some work to do within our communities, and we’re committed to helping.
Lifebridge’s mission is to end the crisis of homelessness. We believe the way to solve this crisis, one person at a time, is to provide housing with supportive services to those in need. We work with great effort to encourage personal development and stability in physical and mental health.

We are founded on the values of acceptance, hospitality, and opportunity.
We serve more than 1,100 individuals daily with three locations on the North Shore, and offer programs for people experiencing different situations. From getting a warm meal to finding a shelter bed, programs are designed for all different individuals as we recognize there are so many needs that are not being met. When clients come to us, they benefit from our services greatly, whether they’re working with a case manager, or taking part in programs like yoga, writing, and other activities.
Our Outreach Workers and Medical Support Services are funded in part by the City of Salem Department of Planning & Community Development, U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. This means we’re able to keep helping people, reach a larger number of people, and continue to push for success in ending this crisis.
