About Grace Center

The Grace Center is open at our regular location – 10 Church Street, Gloucester (Unitarian Universalist Church).

  • There is a maximum of 25 people at a time, where masks are required, and social distancing measures are in place.
  • Temperatures will be taken and hand washing upon arrival.
  • Meals will be served from the kitchen.

The Grace Center is a vital part of the community as a day resource center for men and women who are in need of a safe and supportive environment. It was founded on the values of acceptance, hospitality, and opportunity. We provide services and offer referrals to our partner agencies for mental health and substance abuse treatment, medical care, job training, housing, and more.

Breakfast is served 8:30 – 10:00 am
Lunch is served at 12:00 Noon

Breakfast & Lunch

Our Gloucester day center for those in need provides nutritious breakfast and lunches so that no one goes without food.


Our skilled and compassionate nurses are on-hand to provide medical care as well as mental and physical assistance.

Life Skills/Job Readiness

Our passion is helping Gloucester homeless return to normalcy through life skills and job readiness support.

Advocacy & Referrals

We provide first-hand advocacy and referrals to those struggling with homelessness and seeking a better life.

SBIRT Assessments

Qualified SBIRT assessments for those struggling with substance abuse to provide early intervention as soon as possible.


The Grace Center’s on-site yoga classes encourage our visitors to stay active even in troubling times.


We teach simple meditation techniques to help ease the minds of those struggling with the mental strain of homeless or stressful circumstances.

Therapeutic Art Program

Our art program provides day center visitors the chance to express themselves through art as a nourishing emotional outlet.
