Full Description

• Custodial Maintenance Worker
  • The Custodial Maintenance Worker is at the forefront of facilities cleanliness and maintenance efforts. The position is a key member of the team ensuring successful service delivery of all facility related needs (including buildings and grounds). This position reports to the Head of Maintenance with on-going facility and team related responsibilities.
• Responsibilities and Duties:· Provides overall facility maintenance services, including continuous monitoring of all Lifebridge North Shore Properties.

  · Maintain and update, where needed, repairs and maintenance-related issues.

  · Assist the Head of Maintenance Manage with emergency and routine service requirements.

  · Assist the Head of Maintenance in conducting unit inspections as required

  · Maintain preventive maintenance schedule

  · Vacuum

  · Mopping

  · Stripping, waxing, and buffing floors

  · Shampoo Rugs

  · Trash removal

  · Cleaning common areas

  · Clean bathrooms

  · Window washing

  · Cleaning and maintaining outside areas (including but not limited to trash pickup, cutting grass, weed removal, general landscaping etc)

  · Keeping the building interior and exterior professional and orderly in appearance.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

    · Climb stairs

    · Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    · Must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses and have a normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment.

    · Climb a 6 ft.+ ladder

    · Stand for extended periods of time

    · Ability to kneel/crouch/bend

• Requirements in this role include:· 21 years of age or older.

  · High School Diploma or GED required.

  · Must maintain a current MA driver’s license

  · Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a CORI.

• Work Location/Hours:
  • In-person
  • On call
  • Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
